Igel Ball Biological Filter Media have an extremely high surface area for bacteria to colonize. It is mainly apply in Aquarium. In recent years, Bio ball’s using becomes more and more popular in oversea market.

Due to Igel ball was made of Polypropylene, it is very easy to float on the water’s surface. Additionally, Bio ball’s evenly stab distribution will change liquid flow way and increase gas-liquid contacting time. Finally, it will increase water’s dissolved oxygen and remove H2S,CO2. Meanwhile, stab’s structure will provide more attaching place of Nitrifying bacteria and other beneficial bacteria. More tests have proved that more larger surface area will enhance Bacterial culture ability.
